I’m a coffee lover. Hot, cold, milkshake, ice cream, cream, cake, you name it. If it’s full of good, rich coffee, I love it. When I learned about Gevalia’s new Cold Brew Coffee Concentrate, I couldn’t wait to get my hands on a bottle and make my own cold brew creation.
Take Me There
Hawaiian coconut flavors instantly take me to the beach (in my mind at least!). In my dreams, I pack up and live on the islands full time. Digging my toes in the sand, hearing waves crashing, and drinking delicious cold drinks under an umbrella all day would be the life.
Sipping sweet coconut and cream in my ice cold coffee can send me to my happy place in an instant. I can almost feel the Hawaiian breeze.
Here’s how I indulge in “me” time and make delicious Hawaiian Coconut Cold Brew Coffee at home:
Hawaiian Coconut Cold Brew Coffee Recipe
Ingredients
1/2 Cup Gevalia Cold Brew Coffee Concentrate
1/2 Cup Whole Milk
1 oz Sweetened, Condensed Coconut Cream
Ice
Directions
In a large glass, mix all of the ingredients, except the ice. Once they are mixed well, fill the rest of the way with ice. Enjoy with a straw, close your eyes, and listen to the waves.
Variation
Mix all ingredients in a blender and serve topped with toasted coconut.
Let’s Concentrate
Although the Gevalia Cold Brew Coffee Concentrate bottle is 32 oz, it makes DOUBLE the amount of drinks. It’s concentrated so you can add 1 part cold brew coffee to 1 part milk, water, or whatever you like to customize the flavor to just how you like. Delightfully rich and minus any bitter coffee flavor, this concentrate is so versatile to customize your own cold brew recipe.
You won’t find it in the refrigerated section, though. It’s shelf stable so it’s hanging out in the coffee aisle at Walmart. At a price of around $5.90 for 8 servings, it’s WAY less expensive to make you own customized drinks at home. No standing in line or putting on mascara. It’s all ready to go in your own kitchen.
My Favorite Flavors
Gevalia Cold Brew Coffee Concentrate comes in House Blend and Vanilla. I love vanilla in my coffee but for this Hawaiian Coconut Cold Brew recipe, I went with the House Blend to let the coconut flavor shine!

The one kind of coffee I do like is flavored cold coffee and this sounds amazing!! I can’t believe how easy this is to make! I will be trying it soon.
Anika, you’ll love it. I was worried the coffee flavor wouldn’t be the same since it’s cold brew. I was wrong. It has a deeeeeeep, rich coffee flavor that I love!
That looks delicious! I want to try it with my almond milk.
Ann, I never thought of that! It would be delicious with almond milk! (And some chocolate syrup?!)
Oooh, this looks so yummy, I bet it would taste great with a little Bailey’s ☺
I love the sound of this as a love a coffee coconut combination. But I’ve never heard of sweetened condensed coconut cream, I’ll be on the hunt for it now to see if we have it in the U.K.
