Peach BBQ sauce is a summer staple for entertaining or a simple summer dish. Sticky sweet and lip smacking heat will have you craving this all year long.
Summertime Grilling
We are grill lovers at our house. As soon as the weather breaks, we fire up the grill. Something about the delicious flavor and the bonding over cooking together makes me happy! The open and shut of the kitchen screen door a hundred times while prepping the ingredients and checking on the grill is one of my favorite summer sounds. It means a delicious meal is on its way.
My Grilling Guru
I’m not sure what it is but the men I know each have their own grilling style. It’s down to a science. The grill marks, the temperature, the open and shut of the lid…they all have their own technique and it’s important that they follow the same procedure each time. My husband and I love grilling and entertaining in the summer so he has a very well defined grilling technique. He loved the idea of a sweet and spicy peach bbq sauce.
Memorial Day Entertaining
Memorial Day has a special meaning in our hearts. We both have family who have served for our freedom. Although we have not personally lost anyone to war, we have a deep reverence for those who paid the ultimate sacrifice. This holiday is a chance to slow down, reflect, and enjoy our time together with family and friends.
Make It Easy
Memorial Day also marks the unofficial beginning of summer. To me, that means the extra delicious summer ingredients are starting to pop up in my grocery store. Cherries, watermelons, and peaches are my favorites. So, I like to add them into most of our meals all summer long. They’re not just for snacking. I love peach and I love bbq so I thought they’d be fantastic together. Starting with Smithfield® Marinated Fresh Pork, I created a perfect Peach BBQ recipe for the grill. It’s just right for making entertaining easy because the pork is already marinated and seasoned in the bag. No prep is a plus.
Save Time
Because the Smithfield Marinated Fresh Pork is already marinated, it’s already delicious as is. You can enjoy Real Flavor, Real Fast. That means more time with guests.
Feed Them The Good Stuff
I only like to serve my family good, quality food. When it comes to entertaining, I like to treat my guests the same way. Smithfield Marinated Fresh Pork is made from 100% fresh pork and has nothing artificial. That makes me feel better about serving my guests.
Save Money
When entertaining a crowd, I know it can get a bit pricey. From drinks to sides, to the main dish, it adds up. Every bit of savings helps. So, you can go to Food Lion’s Coupon Page for a $1.00 printable coupon off of Marinated Fresh Pork. They carry lots of delicious marinated pork options:
- Roasted Garlic and Herb
