Lots of foodie posts this week!
I have a TON of garlic I need to use
before my pantry turns into a garlic garden.
In fact, here’s just the beginning of my
mini garlic garden.
mini garlic garden.
I lopped off the top and greased her down..
With this:
In this PC oil sprayer:
Just about 10 pumps:
Next, I popped them in the toaster oven
(I’m using my regular oven for something else…
you’re probably not surprised by this).
Set on 300 for about 40 minutes.
Look at this golden, garlicky heaven!
I just love nature’s way of cramming garlic cloves
together in one little package.

I took out the centers,
mashed them with salt and butter,
mashed them with salt and butter,
and rubbed them on some crusty bread for
THE most delicious garlic bread.
I have some more left over.
It’s gonna be tossed with some
steamed veggies with dinner.

Mmm!
There’s just NOTHING like the flavor of roasted garlic!
MMMMMM I love the smell of roasted garlic too!
Oh how I love garlic…my kids have no idea I put it in virtually everything…someday they'll wonder why they can't get their food to taste like mom's..he he
I've never tried roasting my own garlic. I think I'm a gourmet chef if I use the stuff from the refridgerated bottle, and not garlic salt…..so….this has definitely set forth a challenge for me. I'm going to try out this strategy soon! Thanks for sharing this tip. :O)
Oh yeah I love garlic, and those pictures look wonderful. I have roasted garlic before and it is so awesome on some fresh bread. Yummmmm!
Garlic makes everything taste better!

Your pictures are wonderful…I agree and it's making me hungry!
I make an h'or doevre with roasted garlic that's always a hit. Roast 2 heads of garlic and bake up some chevre cheese covered in breadcrumbs. Serve w/ toasted slices of baguette and apples and pears. The garlic/cheese/fruit combo is amazing and it's good on the bread too.

I stopped by from NFF, I love garlic too. It's kind of an unhealthy obsession, I put it on almost anything I eat for dinner, every night, haha! Like you blog!
