Easy Breakfast for Busy Mornings
Tutti Frutti Breakfast To Go is a perfect idea for a quick, yet healthy and filling breakfast on school mornings.
School morning BREAKFAST.
I can have the best intentions to make some elaborate meal and get out the door on time but sometimes time just gets away from me. I’ve been known to have a gorgeous breakfast baking in the oven, only to serve my kids cereal because I ran out of time.
So, I’ve created a great idea for the morning time crunch trying to get littles ready for school. Easy, filling breakfasts are great but I like to make sure they’re nutritious, too. “Easy” and “nutritious” don’t always work out so well. Plus, sometimes their lunch isn’t for HOURS so their breakfast has to last.
Mornings can be kind of hectic so I like to prep ahead of time. Woman’s Day also offers quite a few helpful tips for streamlining your morning routine. If I make sure their clothes are laid out and meals are prepped, the mornings go much smoother! Then, my only problem is competing with Minecraft for morning conversation.

Tutti Frutti Breakfast To Go
Ingredients
6 individual Greek yogurt cups (I like the extra protein packed into Greek yogurt)
4 cups of fresh fruit, chopped (I use strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, and pineapple)
Optional: Sprinkles made with all natural colors
Directions
Start with the freshest fruit. I love that I can pack a whole fruit serving into each cone. You could also add in any extras like chia seeds or maca powder for an antioxidant boost.
Empty the yogurt cups into a large bowl and set the cups aside. Fold in the chopped fruit.
Next, fill the ice cream cups to the rim with yogurt mixture.
Fill the empty yogurt cups about 2/3 full with yogurt mixture.
Invert ice cream cones onto the the yogurt cups and press slightly. Place in freezer to freeze overnight.
When they’re frozen, dip the yogurt cup in warm water and wait for about 10 seconds. They should quickly release. Optional: Roll in sprinkles and enjoy!
I’m always excited to find junkless options for pretty baking and decorating. I stumbled upon these all natural, organic sprinkles and they’re an excellent alternative to the petroleum-based artificially colored sprinkles. Aren’t they just adorable? My kids love them and I love that we can have sprinkles without the added junk.
